*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

(Hmm a dude for Jade. Let's see, Richard is riding with Kat, Edwin is riding in the forest, Edmund is riding with Gwen, hmm where is Heleman and Fent? Fent is of Alwick...)

Edmund grinned. He held his hand out to help Gwen mount. "Yes, indeed. I hope it is not our last."
---
Katrina descended the ladder. She ran out to Jenel. "Aunt Rachel, I have a few coins, and the money ye told me to fetch from your room at you know where. Shall I go to the village in search of things we be needin' here?" She asked.
---
Mariah found what she was looking for. She read over the paper. Redd, Heleman, Sembill. She grinned, then rang a bell for a servant.
---
Linnet smiled pleasantly. "Would you like to take tea with me in the garden?" She asked.

(sorry I missed this, and sat there wondering if u had missed mine lol oops)

Gwen smiled, and began walking her horse towards Alnwick.

Peter nodded. "Of course." He wasn't much into tea, but if it meant being with Linnet, he would sit and drink its bitter flavor.

(Oh it's fine. I wondered if you had missed it)

Edmund mounted. He kept his horse at a slow walk. "What do you think of Queen Mariah? I heard she's a pretty nice woman, but has a temper only matched by her husband's."
---
Linnet smiled. She stood up to leave the secret garden. "Where is Prince Edwin today?" She asked. "I haven't seen Gwen all morning and I was wondering if she was with him."
---
Mariah paced her parlor. Edwin entered. "Sit down, immediately, son," she demanded.
He obeyed and took a seat near the fire.
"Tell me about that servant girl, whom you danced with last night when Gwen was in need of a partner!" Mariah demanded.
Edwin cocked his head. "And where did you hear that?"
"Servant gossip," she replied bluntly.
He crossed his arms. "It was just one dance."
"JUST one?! One is enough to ruin this entire treaty your father has finally been able to make!" She practically screeched.
Edwin stood up.
"And where do you think you're going now?"
"To my room. I don't wish to discuss this further," he stated as he quickly left.
Mariah gasped, infuriated. She picked up the paper with the names on it, then rang the bel for a servant. "Fetch Heleman RIGHT NOW!" She said. The servant scurried off

Gwen smiled. "Oh she is lovely. I very much enjoy her company." (oblivious

Peter frowned, puzzled. "I do not. Now that I think about it, I haven't seen him since the party."

:)lau SOO oblivious )

Edmund nodded. "And the king?"
---
Linnet thought hard. "Gwen never said where she was going. Just out."
---
Mariah paced her parlor in an impatient frenzy. She needed Heleman–and quick.

Gwen shrugged. "Hes nice...i guess, but I think it is only for the treaty."

Peter nodded. "Well then...they are definitely together." He smiled brightly. "I knew they'd learn to get along."

(but little does he know...)

"Have you thought about trying to get to know them better? I mean, if things didn't work out your way, you might as well learn to like them," Edmund suggested.
---
Linnet frowned. "I doubt it. From the way I've heard and seen Gwen act of late, I don't think she likes him."
---
(Yep :lau)

Gwen shook her head. "I-I couldn't do it. I refuse to marry Edwin."

Peter sat down to think. "Where else could they be?"

Edmund turned his face so Gwen wouldn't see his grin. "Well, I guess that leaves you only two solutions," he said dramatically.
---
Linnet thought hard. "I have no idea."

Gwen have him a sideways glance. "And they would be..."

Peter shook his head. "They can't just go missing on the same day and not be together."

Jade smiled.. " if you want." She got on her horse and started galloping her.

"Ok " jenel was thinking anout going back to the castle.

Jephry smiled and jumped up onto his horse. He galloped after Jade.
-----
Adrienne trotted her pony into the garden and pulled him to a stop next to her favourite tree. She unwrapped and sandwich and ate it whil she thought "where do you think Gwen is, Calder?" She sighed.
-----
Once plucked, Gavin's pheasant was about half the size it had been when it still had feathers. He stared at it and scowled "Some deer" He mumbled, staring off into the woods, hoping to see something move.

(Hey, can anyone tell me why Jenel and Katrina are at the cabin in the first place? I didn't read back far enough, and can't find it...thanks :-D)
