Here are my Welsummers, there should be 5 of them, all Roo or Hens, idk, lol. Let me know if they aren't Wels, I do have 4 Dutch. The Wels should be Buff, but I have no idea...
Ideas??
Buff Welsummers? Is it a project you are creating? If you expected Welsummers, no, they do not look like Welsummers at all. Looked like Buff Orpington/Welsummer crosses and poorly marked.
I see two roos in that lot so far due to the size of their combs.

Not my chicks. Only chicks I have that I've hatched are from my Japs. These little ones were all bought from 3-6weeks from a member, she might be on here, too. I was told buff welsummer. All other chicks are prolly mutts too, but cute.
Buff Orpington/Welsummer crosses, what kinda egg color they lay?
2 Roos, nice, I thought 3. I will get better pics tomorrow, those are 1-2weeks old.
I will be looking for a couple of Welsummer chicks, come January. I just raise them for the eggs. For me it is all about the egg colors! I have Marans, Ameraucunas, Leghorns, Brahmas, and Olive eggers. I understand that the Welsummers lay more of a terra-cotta color egg. I have been hatching eggs, but I think I am exhausting all my places to give roosters.
My brooder will be ready in January! Any suggestions?
I have butchered them after I cried a bit. But I did eat one of my beautiful roosters. The zoo gifting doesn't work for me here in the middle of nowhere. Just coyotes and I do not care to feed wildlife with my birds. It encourages them to hang around

Are you looking for chicks or hatching eggs?
I only have 2 wellie hens, but one was culled to my layer pen as she didn't fit the SOP. So I only have one wellie hen with my rooster at the moment. You're pretty close by, so contact me in January and I may be able to help. I plan on hatching as well as bringing in new blood, so I may have some spare chicks at that point. (assuming you ever make it up towards the Auburn area)
