I'm getting some pullet eggs from one of Nate's girls, all speckley! Tiny ones LOL!

I packed them carefully so I can get some collection of brown eggs and label those by numbers of the breeders and see the wide variations of shades and colors of the terra cotta eggs.

Those are from the 2 hens we hatched from HapptMtn's eggs, did notice the comb and wattles on 1 of the girls hatched from Nate's eggs getting red and bigger-so maybe soon we'll see what she lays

. Of course I now have leg bands so maybe this weekend I will get those not numbered yet taken care of. They weren't too happy with me yesterday-I made them go outside so I could clean their pen....had to help them out!

Hi Everyone!

Just thougth that I would pop in and update on the new 'bator and the Wellie eggs in it. Candled this morning , out of 21 set, removed 2 clear, 1 quitter and one blood ring. 17 still going strong.

Seriously, I would live it thru all of you! Just keep updating and send photos when the chicks are hatching, then I can live it up without the mess, feeding and all that jazz.
