Thanks for clearing that up Walt....I just culled a 6 mos. old cockerel that had some fluff and I was afraid that I was making a mistake culling him. Glad to know that I didn't.

I know she is still very young but how is the coloring in the breast so far? Specifically the shafting? Do you have a front photo of her? Oh and her hackle color is lovely.

Her chest coloring looks really good - haven't got a close enough look at the shafting. Her and the other 2 babies are quick! We are having a big rainstorm, but I'll try to get more pictures of her when the storm settles. Mama broody just kicked them to the curb a few days ago - I can't believe she mothered them for over 8 weeks!
