Thank you friends. It was a very hard decision to make. I still have no clue as to what it was and will be carefully monitoring all other birds. I am glad that I didn't get the opportunity to move him back with his girls, yesterday morning I found him just standing blankly staring and would not move away from me, normally he will move because he doesn't care to be picked up but he knows it is going to happen so he would only go so far then give in, but yesterday he didn't even flinch. I made the decision right then to put an end to it. I picked him up and said my goodbyes and found the strength and courage to do the deed on my own. I couldn't stand the thought of my neighbor, (who will do this sort of thing for me if my nephew is busy) doing it with this bird.

I bought eggs from scratch poultry and chicks from Ranchers poultry farm
I tried to tag which was from which but they managed to remove most of the leg bands. little buggers
