Cute girls though she looks more welsummer, than AM, so if I let my Am roo breed my wellies I'll get green eggs?????Blue over brown makes green, what if it's brown egg gene roo over an AM same thing? hhmmmm green eggs and ham....... will have to see,. what happens with the generation after the F1's? egg color anyway now I'm curious....is it always now green or if bred back to an AM what then....... LOL

Nice day for pictures, so I decided to go take some.

Poor Moose - I've had a metal feeder in his coop for 3 years now. All of a sudden, he decided to lay his head on it and got frostbite on his wattles. I felt horrible. He's got a plastic feeder now.

Mine are filling out but not in their prime best. I m sure in a month or two they will all look very good. No camera at this point....batteries up and died. Too lazy to get pictures. AND cant find my plug for my camera to be downloaded on my laptop.

Might just get a new camera that is lighter and much better than my three or four year old digital camera.

They are looking great Kelly! Nice and tall like their Daddy was ! I love that! My two girls that are just a little older than her are starting to add some bulk to their frames.....finally.

Tell that Moose boy I can't wait to have some of his babies running around here!

Here is the attitude that I get from one of the girls around here lately.....#8 the trouble maker. LOL!


Later I will get you a couple more photos loaded of the other 2 girls, having trouble uploading to site right now.

But I did get a Wellie egg the other day.....finally, but not one since! LOL!

Well as soon as the girls start laying!!!! I can't believe how long they are taking to start back up. They are on high protein feed, extra meat scraps, etc. I swear, I'm about to have the eggs vs BBQ chicken talk with them.

Btw, just put four gals in a pen last Saturday to clean out for a couple of weeks. Can't wait to start collecting eggs for the 'bator!

Well, you know he has to have the ladies around him at all times!

Seriously, they were free ranging - and he keeps tight tabs on the girls.

Thanks for the compliment on him, he's a great boy to have around.
