I have an 11 month old hen that's just decided not to roost in the coop but in a pine tree. These are my first wells i have mostly Marans and barred rocks is this normal of the breed or just a rare personality thing. I've watched them for a few days and she's not being picked on or bothered by an aggressive roo. Btw they are free range and coop is setup with a "custom/homemade " dusk to dawn chick door with temp sensor and is heated when it's below 35

My welsummers all go to roost in the coop. I did have to teach them get up on the roost bars. They would go in the coop but just wanted to huddle up in the corners. So every night at dark I would go and put all 19 of them up on the roost bars. After about 4-5 days they all did it on their own. I've added several generations to my flock since but they have learned from the older hens and roos I guess because I have not had to do that since. So maybe yours just needs to be reminded where to roost for a few nights then she will remember where to go. I would think if she's not being picked on by the others she would want to roost with the rest of the flock. Just my opinion....
