ahh they lok more like proper welsummers in that light, i think you have got yourself some welsummers, they will probaly lighten up when they get older

Knowing the age of your bird will help in evaluating. Also a better quality picture where we can see his chest. Try comparing him to this picture of my rooster.

Hello everyone. I need some help. I am looking for a nice dark egg laying (or one day will lay) wellie hen/pullet.
