The eyeliner is the most telling one, the definition of the "chipmunk pattern" isn't nearly as accurate. There are lines where the eyeliner isn't as obvious, but on most lines they look very gothic. I have one hen who's chicks have eye markings that look like Pennies. Once I figure out who it is, she is heading to freezer camp (or possibly to the EE pen to make olive eggers).
 
I think my hen is going to give me an egg today!

After the dog attack she layed for a while but then stopped and hadn't layed an egg since the beginning of February. It was beautiful and I should have taken a pic and posted it.

It was nice rich terra cotta with lots of heavy speckling and tasted great fried on top of an Everything Bagel Thin with a slice of melted cheese. Yummy!!!!!!!! I just had to do a quality assurance check.

I can't believe how much I missed those pretty eggs.....feeding my dark egg addiction just wasn't the same with out those Wellie eggs.

Next stop......incubator! Yippeeeee!
