The Welsummer Thread!!!!

As of yesterday, my roosters are now separated. So the countdown to pure wellies begins!

Now watch, my girl will quit laying. That would just be my luck.

Well Nate and Welsummer fanciers......here are the pics I took today of the flock....

Now that is one handsome flock...the Black Orpington Bantam is the "mom" of most of the Welsummers, including the roo...she is still the matriach of the flock and keeps them in line as well, even they are twice as big as she is.

Now that roo is going to be hunka handsome! Very personable and talks with a low groan but does not crow high pitch, more like a beagle bay LOL! Well he is not going to be tenor but maybe a passable baritone.
