the Will They Hatch? thread

Happychickenwith10, I'm in the same boat as you are. These eggs didn't go as far as some I've hatched but they had a rough ride. I'm on day 18 and wondering if any will hatch. There is movement in four but they have the worst air cells I've ever seen. Don't even know how the chick has room to develop. I'm anxious to see how yours do. Didn't see the link to the air cell discussion??

I'm in that boat too. One one remaining shipped egg has air at the end where it should be but also running down one side of the shell.

I REALLY want it to live and after losing two DIS at CNY because I didn't help them, I will help this little one if it appears to be struggling.

It's day 20 so

I have a baby in the next day or two.

What happens when the air cell is mostly at the big end of the egg, but also slightly down the side. Maybe 1.5 cm from the big end of the egg? Thanks!

I have shipped eggs too and I doubt that any of them are going to hatch. I am already planning on buying some local if these don't hatch. Day 21 is Saturday. I can't tell what I'm looking at when I'm candling but I see dark, but no real movement. I am clueless. Hoping for something to happen on Saturday but planning on the next batch in case. Some have the big air cell too.
