The Women will understand...

That is another thing,, PADDING!!! Ok, lining yes to keep the headlights dim, but who needs padding when I'm a 34D as it is! I don't need them pushed up under my chin so I can touch my cleavage with my own chin,, I just want a nice, comfortable, pretty, properly fitting bra.

I had one break while horseback ridding................... it was not fun.

Gee I don't even care what it looks like at this point, I just want one without PADDING!! Why do they think a D1/2 needs MORE padding anyway? Though if they made half padded bras where I could make the C side look like the D1/2 side that might be different but really! I'm ok with plain jane white bras as long as they fit, not hard to please but..... it's getting harder and harder to FIND them!!

I agree!! That is one reason I asked DH for a enw sewing machine for christmas. At least some things I can learn to make on my own! The only thing I hate more than bra shopping is pants shopping! I am short waisted, so pants at the waist are like steve urkel pants. Lower cut pants don't fit right either. My biggest problem isn't the waist/hips, but the waist/thighs. I have muscular thighs and it is hard to find pants that fit all around. Even had this problem at size 3! The other day I sent shopping for a shirt. The size 12 was too big (fit the thighs/hips and was HUGE in the waist, and a size 10 was miserably tight. So, I decided to go with slacks instead. The ones that fit are a size 14! By the way, the jeans I was wearing at the time were a 10. What is the point of sizes?

BTW, Debi, I checked out biggerbras.com! Thanks for the suggestion! When I have some spare money, I am going to try them!

I'm 5'5" and have trouble finding the right length pants. 5'4" and under is considered petite. 5'6' and over is regular. So I get to choose from highwaters or dragging cuffs.

Luckily I sew, it saves a lot of money not having to pay someone to shorten all my pants.

I just wanted to let ya'll know that I found some bras on SALE at Lane Bryant. 46 DD for $34. Buy 2 get 2 free. AWESOME. I never knew there was a "comfy" bra!

Same height here! I just opt to drag the cuffs or I wear boots or sandals with a heel to compensate for the length. The shorter ones are frustrating (but they don't make it past the store so it is only a temporary frustration)! Only a couple more months and I get my new sewing machine!

I am a 36DD. I buy all of my bras at Fredericks of Hollywood. They generally have them on sale 2 for $50. I think that's a pretty decent price. They do have lined bras, lightly padded bras and highly padded bras. Most of the mega padded ones have removable padding so that they are only lightly padded. Well, really just lined. I will be getting my daughters bras through them too now. A twelve year old does not need highly padded bras!! That was all I could find for her. It was either training bras that were too small or fancy looking highly padded ones.

I know that Wal-mart probably has plain white non padded ones but... I won't shop there. Let's not open that an of worms shall we? I also agree about clothes in general. To get a button up shirt that fits I am swimming at the waist or about to pop out of the top. Pants are horrid. They are too long even if they claim to be petite and the I love the curvy style because well, I have a but. However the designers seem to think that only amazonian women have curves. So if it fits on the leg I have this weird flap at the waist in the back or i am trying to hem them up six inches.

Oh you need to go to biggerbras.com Seriously!!!!! I am a 38J. Go there.

J.........I feel for you. Does your back hurt. Maybe you should sit down, better yet lie down...............on your side so you can breath. How do you find cloths to fit over those J's. I do......I really do........feel for ya. I got up to a 48DD and can't wait to loose more weight so they will go back to my B's again. I would love to sleep on my stomach. I'm down to a 44D now. But I rarely wear a bra anyway. Unless I go out in the public. At home it comes off or never goes on. I do like the sports bras that hook in the front. I go through them pretty fast but they are comfortable for around the house. Keeps the girls in place if you know what I mean. If I bend over I don't get a black eye. Oh, I quit going out dancing a while ago and forget running. A fast walk is stressful enough. Then having to wear a real bra hurts my shoulders because the weight pulls the straps into my skin and I get the kind with wide and cushioned straps.

I gave up on Jeans about 4 sizes ago. They just don't fit right for big girls. Like you said it has that place at the back for some reason. I think it's for people to practice basketball. See if they can get a wad of paper in there on 1 shot. I wear sweats anymore. I have dress cloths but no jeans hang in my closet. Not that i'm against them. I wish I could wear them. I have been on a diet since May of this year and have lost 55 pounds so far. Down 2 sizes. I tell people I lost a child and looking to loose a couple more. When I can fit into a pair of size 18 jeans I know I am half way there.

I would like to get down to size 14. For my height that is a good size, well that and my age. I don't think i'll ever fit in a 9 again. I'm not even gonna try. I'm working towards a 14. I'll be happy with that....and a pair of B cups that are in the right spot. lol

All that padding is for attention getters since men usually look at a womans chest instead of her eyes when he talks to her. They think they need to make them "Perkier". Well, honey. when that bra comes off he will really know exactly HOW Perky they really are. Give it up and go for the natural look. As long as they are in the right place and the headlights are out and are kept under control and not going here and there what is the need for all the fancy stuff to make them appear what they're not.
