The Women will understand...

Bra's are evil. The sizes are sizest. Certain numbers "can't possibly" go with a letter. Seriously.
I can't get my size bra's without a LONG look. OR ordering them.
34 F... argh!

Ohhh, ladies! I would rather . . .

. . . slide nekkid down a sandpaper slide . . .
. . . try to shave a bobcat in a phone booth . . .
. . . give birth to a full-grown porcupine . . .

. . . than go bra shopping. Mine look like cobwebs; after the holidays, I simply must go find some new ones. At least now I don't feel alone in this.

I seriously can NOT believe that Marlin has not posted on this thread. I didn't read any post but the first, I was just expecting some Marlin humor as I scrolled down through this entire thread.

I warned everyone what I would do to them if they got my Women's thread closed,,,,, and it's much worse than shaving a bobcat in a phone booth,, it's brushing their teeth with an eyelash comb!

I am also a 34DD and can definitely relate to the woes. Victoria's Secret 'sometimes' carried certain styles that would fit. Those bras never held up over 2 months for me too. I bought alot of bras from the Fredericks of Hollywood catalog. Super cute and megaexpensive. They were great if you were going out on a date but don't bend over without falling out. For a while Playtex and Bali had certain designs that worked. Of course they discontinued those too. Right now I've found some from Lane Bryant in the Balconette style that are awesome. The sizing is way off compared to other brands... I've always been a 34DD and in this style I and a 40 or 42F. Super cute colors and great fit. Some are $40+ each but they usually run sales.

I envy those who can wear the sports bras or none at all. If I buy a sports bra big enough to fit my cup size then the ribcage is also way too big and I fall out the bottom. If I get them to fit the ribcage, then the cup is way too small and I get the quadriboob effect. I do get frequent backaches. I also love riding horse. Yeah well gotta wear a regular bra plus a sports bra then so I don't have a couple black eyes.

Oh to be a man......

Bras are such a necessary evil! In high school and early college, I was a 28/30 B (I have a narrow rib cage). NEVER could find one! The 32B just made me fall out of the bottom. I ended up gaining some weight and am now a 36 B/C. What I want to know if how they figure 1" difference between a B and a C is acceptable! You don't buy shoes in 1 inch increments! A 36B I muffin top out of and a 36C leaves the stupid unfilled bra cup line in my shirts.

At a C, they are in the way. I couldn't imagine having Ds, Es or JJs!!!! I have come to hate underwires too. While my bras don't snap, the fabric wears thin and then I get jabbed by the stupid underwire...either in the arm pit area where the stupid bra makes a nice, beautiful roll (like an extra pair of girls between the real girls and pits!

) or in the middle of my chest. I found a nice bra (no underwire) recently. Very comfortable, etc, but the fabric is cheap and already starting to tear.

And padding...I need padding. If I wear a thin fabric bra, I may as well go braless. *headlights*

I won't even get started on the stupid clasps that bend and make your arms bend in unnatural directions to get them apart!
