The worst pain ever

I have had my foot crushed by a horse, broken and fractured bones and that little thing hurt worse than any of the others. They are evil little creatures.

Ok. I won't get mad at my kids anymore when they refuse to go outside because a wasp is hanging out. Never been stung by one and it sounds like I don't want to.

Scorpions in your house. OMG! I'm staying in Colorado.

Wasp, hornet and bee stings are all pretty much alike. They hurt. But when you're allergic or if the little bugger gets a nerve....it's a lot worse. Last year I got stung my a mahogany wasp in my cheek and my face swelled until I couldn't see. That was almost a week in the hospital.

I live in the hill country in Texas and the hotter it is the more the scorpions come out. We also have wolf spiders which if I get bitten it takes forever for it to heal.

I'm from the mid west and these darn bugs and critters down here are going to kill me.

I told DH when he comes home we are packing up the goats, llamas, chickens and moving to somewhere that I can go around barefoot.

Dang, now you're making me homesick for the Hill Country agin- I lived there for over 20 years.

Now on the coast of SC, we have a whole new group plus some of the old critters- there was a wasp in the house yesterday. I basically tried to keep the dogs away from it, I think I can repair the table and doors......

Come back over Ranch....could always use a buddy as a reason to get more chicks and for other things I find myself in...

At least where you are, I bet you can dig in the dirt, and plant flowers and a garden. Here I dig down an inch and hit rocks.

Have to have dirt hauled in into raised beds,

One of my dogs always tries to chase wasps. Stupid stupid dog.

Oh heck no! Don't be inviting the Ranchy out to Texas. It's way too close to Arkansas for my comfort.

I was using a lot of words in the ER. ESP after telling the doctor NOT TO TOUCH IT and he did anyway.

He just kept poking at it. "trying" to feel for a stinger and "feeling" the swelling.

Yes I was using my "words" to tell him how I felt.

Not to hijack, but this brings up a recent concern of mine. Next Monday I am going to be having a couple of medical tests and a minor surgery done under anesthesia, specifically Versaid. I am seriously considering telling the nurse that attends me before and after not to let my DH in the recovery room with me until I am fully awake and back in my right mind. I've been known to say some pretty wild things while under the influence of versaid and I want to still be married when I wake up.
