What were the parents?

**Pic Heavy - Sorry!***

I am new to BLRWs. I recently purchased 2 of them to keep my only survivor of a bad hatch company. They are Murray McMurray as far as I know. These two are 4 weeks old today.

My first question is on coloring. These two have totally different coloring. One is mostly red and the other is mostly blue/silver. They looked identical when I got them at a day old. Are they both BLRW? Do they just vary that much in color from a hatchery?

The second question is sex. I started a thread and got a few responses of roos, but no pullet responses. Any ideas? I'm assuming the bluer one is a roo since he's so beautiful and the sweetest chicken I've ever had.

Well, naturally I don't like bantams, but I did have Wyandotte bantams for about a year and they are pretty nice. The males are aggressive and the females are pretty good layers. I'm sure that personality is not that different. Maybe someone with both will comment...
