The Wyandotte Thread

lol, I'm definately a girl-ly girl. Honestly, my fertility is running between 50% - 70% right now. I won't have the room to separate into breeding pens until March. The cocks do seem to have their favorites. But I'd love to send some eggs at that time.

I'm sorry! I have no idea why I decided to make you a "he" in my head!

I'll be sure to bug you again in March so I can be at the top of your list for eggs once everybody gets settled in.

Oops its 'her list'

got my first Wyandotte babies today! 2 SLW chicks, 2 days old, parents are show birds, absolutely breathtaking, and HUGE! looking forward to watching these little guys grow, quickly!

Can any of you experienced breeders offer some feedback (positive and negative) on the quality of this cockerel? I hatched him in March last year.

i'd say he has really nice type but I'm not a judge. I'd put him in a show and see how he does, get a real opinion. I'm not sure about the color but overall that looks good to me

Thanks, very much, for your feedback. I also hope to get some opinions from people who have experience showing Wyandottes so I don't show up and embarrass myself!
