The Wyandotte Thread

Pics
I had 4 silverlaced wyan's and 4 goldenlaced all hens but someone took two of my silverlaced from my pen so I now have 4 goldenlaced and 2 silverlaced. I am not sure how I put the pics on here and I will have too locate my pics. I would like too have enough space too have tons of chickens but that is not possible.

I have a white wyandotte rooster but he has a funky comb (definatly not like a show quality wyandottes comb!

They can be shown, they just cant win best of breed but they can take best of variety and depending on the show- best AOV wyandotte. I had a judge that wanted to place on of my solid duns best of breed because the type was so good but they arent a recognized color. Its just like the BLR, they are showing up more and more and if enough people get them in good quality they might have a chance at being in the standard. I would love to see dun or dunlaced be more popular, more people need to start with them. I will try to get some pics up if I can.

Ok, here are my pics, they are old but still show the birds.

They are so pretty! I'd love to get some eggs from some SQ birds sometime. Any good breeders in Indiana of wyan bantams?

Anyone ever heard of Andy Anderson of IL?

OMG fmp!! If you can find pics of dun hens, and a better shot of a dun roo I'd love to see them! From the looks of that roo, they might be reason enough to build another coop!!!

Just have one more question. Is there any wyandotte groups or clubs anywhere in the states? I see there are clubs for a quite a few different breeds. I wouldn't mind finding some decent partridge. Or if someone knows how to create them. Large fowl ofcourse. Thanks Mike
