The Wyandotte Thread

So could she be a Partridge Wyandotte bantam, just lighter? Clover was a mystery chick from Murray...and I've heard hatchery stock Wyandottes can come off as single-combed.

No, I certainly don't think that's a Wyandotte. I have seen a Silician Buttercup come in that coloring, but that bird has a single comb. Maybe try starting a new thread in the "what breed or gender is this?" part of the forum. Maybe someone there will be able to help you.

I did...they thought she was a mix. But then our neighbor thought she looked like a Partridge Wyandotte bantam...

I've bred Partridge Wyandotte Bantams for about 20 years & the bird in question absolutely isn't one. The folks on the "what breed...." thread were right, she's a mutt.

Not trying to offend but I would say she is not a Partridge Wyandotte. Perhaps she may have some Partridge Rock Bantam in her heritage. While she is no doubt a lovely bird, I would not classify her as a specific variety of any breed.

Does my Clover look like a bantam Partridge Wyandotte?

What throws me off is the single comb...I don't know much about Wyandotte bantams so I dunno

I would say no. for one the coloring is wrong for a partridge, too much buff, she's got a single comb, and dark feet and beak.

good luck figuring it out

I would guess easter egger. They often use them as free chicks. With a single comb she may not lay a blue egg and they sometimes do not have a beard. So just chicken. Will make a nice layer.
