We had this tape of songs that would play on repeat over and over in the car when I was 9 or 10: I remember some of the songs now but have yet to hear most of them again

The tape is long lost. Do these days' 9 or 10 year olds even listen to tapes?

There were things like Back for good, Somewhere out there, Unbreak my heart etc.

1. This was one by a girl I think (VERY vague memory of it), she was singing about a car crash on the highway and falling into the water, being in over her head and not being able to get out, something like that.
2. Even vaguer memory: it was about September and coming home.
3. "........... over the mountain, ................ under the sea" (I think, was the first two lines of the chorus)

There are so many more which I have absolutely no recollection of whatsoever!

#3 was it this song ?
Anna
Over the Mountain

Over the mountain and under the sea
I´m gonna find you wherever you´ll be
Dive down the ocean and fly to the moon
Keep dreams in motion and I´ll see you soon

Fly to the moon

Over the mountain and under the sea
I´m gonna find you wherever you´ll be
Dive down the ocean and fly to the moon
Keep dreams in motion and I´ll see you soon
[x2]

Fly to the moon

Under the sea, wherever you´ll be
Under the sea, wherever you´ll be
Keep dreams in motion
Keep dreams in motion

Over the mountain and under the sea
I´m gonna find you wherever you´ll be
Dive down the ocean and fly to the moon
Keep dreams in motion and I´ll see you soon
[x2]

I´ll see you soon

1st one... dunno.. any idea who the artist was or more info?

2nd one (just a guess.. would help a little if I knew the era.. like 60's, 70's...)
"See you in September"

2rd one:
could be either:
Anna "Over the Mountain"
Rod Stewart "Mine for Me"
Johnnie & Joe "Over the Mountain Across the Sea"

some oldies,but goodies.

For some reason when I was thinking about those songs, Al Bundy came into my head and said " hmmmm hmmmm him"
