There Hatching?? need help...

Ok the 4 that I helped are all out , 3 SLW , and 1 SS, 5 more have pip thru gonna leave them along & if no change in the morning I'll help them too!!

You are lucky that those all made it. I know this result makes you think you should help all the chicks out if they havent made progress in 10 hours.... I will say it again You got lucky... This is not always the outcome. If in the morning nothing has happened sit on your hands and wait...... Its hard work breaking out of an egg and they need to sleep to gather their strength. As long as they are breathing let them be! If they have made no progress by tomorrow night then give them a hand.

Well no need to help they hatching by the hr,, new problem not enough heat in brooder going to hardware to fix this

Good to hear!

You can keep the chicks in the incubator for a day or 2 with no problem.... they have absorbed the yolk sack and do not need food or water.... So while you get your brooder up and running you should leave them be. Make sure to show the chicks where the water is by dipping their beaks into the waterer..... And if you don't have a chick waterer make sure to put marbles or something in the water so that they do not drown.

Post some pictures of your chicks when you have time!!!

10 hatched , 3 more pipping, 14 waiting for anything- no progress. this is a holding brooder made out of an old Chester drawer , they will go into the big brooder tomorrow morning, so far so good, just wish the other 14 eggs will hatch too
