Well, I ran the new incubator for a few days and everything was good. Temp stayed at 99 and humidity ranged from low to mid 40s. I put 16 Silkie eggs in tonight. Hopefully,(with my luck), I’ll get a couple of hatches. I weighed them and wrote it down on the chart. Trying to make sure everything goes good. They are due Feb. 5th/6th, it was 10:30 pm when I put them in. Fingers crossed:fl:jumpy:fl:jumpy:fl

It's not too early with silkie eggs. You should be able to see some spiders growing since the shells are so light.
Are you going to let your hen hatch? One thing you could do if you don't want more than 16 is you could let her "Incubate" ceramic eggs or golf balls and when your current batch hatches you can sneek the babes under her.
