I was so proud that we have gotton all the chickens together with no complications! We did it Wednesday night while the 4 month old hens & the 1 roo were sleeping. The younger chickens are 10 weeks old now. They had just been in another part of the coop that was temporarily gated off. I wanted them to see each other, but not fight either. So Thursday morning I went out to the coop and everything was just fine. The big girls and roo could really care less about the newbies! My husband had read on here at BYC to introduce new chicks at night and the older chicks will just wake up the next day and not think too much of the new comers. Well, it works!!!!
