ok day 20 officially passed and no movement, starting to loose hope

Hang in there! I've heard of eggs not hatching until the 25 day!

Were giving it a 26 and maybe even a 28. It's hard adjusting the humidity, I added plenty of moisture to the little paper towel last night and it was stil under 60 (we're using a small circular moisture needle sensor that came with the incubator, I wish we got a better one), just added moisture and I hope it raises to hatch humidity. If thse don't hatch by next Tuesday or Thursday, we'll just be ordering chicks. I hope this effort doesn't turn out to be nothing. But there's nothing to worry about, tomorrow evening is officially overdue so we can do the float test. A question I have though, do they start moving when they float? My eggs aren't moving and I think it might be the coldness (or are you supposed to use warm water???) that prompts then to move position when in water. I plan on taking a trip to the hardware store tonight to see if I can't craft a better candler than a box that sits on the lamp, which were using now, though I might not have money. I really plan to seeing this through to the end.

Thanks for the wishes of luck, I know I'll sure need the luck for this... Guess we didn't know it was going to be so much maintenance than it first seemed like. And good luck to yours! everybody keep posted to this thread, I'll post updates usually in the middle of the day, before I go to bed, or within 10 minutes of hatch!... If they hatch..:/

about 27 minutes ago is officially overdue, and we did the water test. 7 out of our 8 eggs are viable!!! and i think we had a few rock! its kind of exciting. but we forgot to dry them off, so i hope its not too humid in there

. keep your eyes on that webcam! we're giving them till next thursday... hopefully we wont need that long, and hopefully theyll hatch...
