Don't see anything. IDK? I know people assist chicks hatching and that's touching them...? I do pick up hatching pigeons eggs any listen to them. But honestly I've never hatched anything except pigeons eggs and their parents took care of them.

I candled them. One has an air sac but it's still yellow, probably fetal demise, just like every other one of them, my mom said she even smelt them (I don't). But, here's my question. I candled the bottom right one with a white flashlight and it was white! My stepfather said he saw a head! Could it be possible that because it's white that that one could hatch? I didn't feel anything pecking so idk

EDIT: We just ordered 5 chicks, so maybe stick with me until Friday? Then I'll be migrating to "raising chicks"

Awww. To bad. Where did you order chicks from? What breeds? I just got a Easter Egger and I'm getting another one tommorow! I got a SLW the first time but she died from wry neck.

Hey, sorry, I had to take the live feed down. Got in trouble at school and got grounded for a month, no electronics. but I promise I'll get it back up when my sentence is done! I'll be posting daily on the progress of the chickens, in a journal of sorts. Our eggs had a 0 outcome

so we ordered silkie chicks. We have no idea when they'll come

Yup. I candled them last night and the night before and I was hoping the bottom right egg (we'll call it egg 3) had a hope, I saw a head in it. I'm not going to give these eggs beyond tonight, we're literally only crafting stink bombs at this point, the whole household is smelling them.

EDIT: Tomorrow night is day 28, sorry. I read through my last post and it seems my original plan was to give it until day 28, though that's stretching it a whole week...
