I have seen my flock tree a squirrel and wait 3 hours for it (I got bored and went inside). Found a squirrel tail the next day in the hen house.
winters are the worst for other birds, plenty of food in the run and just too tempting for songbirds.

My rooster would happily have a crack at eating me right now I think! My lovely girls would not dream of eating mummy lol, even if they were my size and hungry - they are far too gentle!
