They scared yo...

Up to you, but take into consideration they aren't the most graceful creatures toughness will come in time oh buddy will it ever but at this age they tend to get hurt enough not even trying new stunts,
My ramp is very steep.... Hmmmmm.... Do I want to raise it or raise them to be tough? Thinking. This is a science experiment to me and raising it would change the variables.
just existing. ;)

Boom! A total of 12 hours with the door open. 3 hours yesterday and on the 9th hour day 2 (12 hours total) I see I think 4 out in the run. I don't want to get too close to spook them on their new adventure but here's the picture from my security camera inside the coop which you can see at least one of them in the Run. 10 chicks total and you can count how many are still in the coop

Science experiment complete. I did nothing to alter results chicks are 4 weeks and two days old today.

Well dominiques are nuts, so that explains those. Not being mean I've got one that flogs squirrels she's bonkers. :)
Even more data. On a closer look it is exactly 4 that left the coop. 4 Dominiques. The 3 Buckeye and the 3 Wyandotte stayed put.

Birds of a feather.... flick in their segregated groups?.... interesting
