My heart breaks for you. Pets become family members and when they pass we must grieve. We live in the middle of "nowhere" so our dogs just run. I always have that thought in the back of my mind though, that something could happen. Some people come out here to shoot at gophers or just shoot to hear the noise!

I know your pain! I lost one pug to an accident and one to cancer over the years. I just held their little bodies and wailed!! (Its been 2 years since the last one died and I am tearing up just writing this.) After the last one died i said no more! I don't want to go through the pain of loss any more! But guess what? I have a new pug and am so enjoying him! In time you may want to get another Yorkie. My heart goes out to you!
