They're Hatching! Day 20 for Glenda *PICS ADDED*

Cyn: Thanks for the pictures and post. Such sweeties, all of em. Also nice to see a bit of your setup, too. Your area must be so lovely, up in the mts.

I wish we could all show one another more of our setups, if nothing else, just to get more familiar with each other, in a way. But that's just me.

Stacey: I sort of envy your pleasure with the se winters. up here in mass. it ain't so pleasant!!

We've already had two hard frosts and several days in the mid thirties.

Thanks, John. Stay warm! Maybe I'll post some pictures of Suede's coop. It's set up with half of the space as Suede's side and the other side has the broody pen containing Glenda, with Zane in his wire dog kennel on top of her. It's very versatile.

AWWWW, they are so cute and funny, the little Black ones look just like mine.....

I ended up with just Holly's and Bess' the others never did anything, I was so upset over the last couple hatches I couldn't bring myself to open them and see what went wrong, I know on Day 18 most had movement and all were filling up the shell.

I appreciate it Cyn. I am buying a better hygrometer and going to try a few things different.
At least the one with leg issues is fine. I think one is a girl and the other a boy. I will post pics later tonight, maybe you can tell me for sure.
I did have my 2 Phoenix hatch, one is yellow and one chipmunk, I have no clue what the yellow one will be, maybe white??? I have my other 3 phoenix in the hatcher now, they should start hatching tomorrow.
I did leave the water alone, it is down to about 58% so we will see how this goes.

Good morning Cyn! Brrrrr! The 30's is a bit chilly for sure! That is exactly why I couldn't do chicks right now. I'd panic!

Me on the other hand, I'm a total nitwit and so addicted that I am about to hatch eggs from Cynthia's barred rocks and some ebay delawares AND I had to order one last batch of partridge rocks ...

You see, I came here and was infected and am now utterly insane. Now the coop is nice and warm and I can put in a nice heat lamp but they're NOT leaving my kitchen until they're full feathered even if there ARE 40 of them in the end.

By the way, we AREN'T telling Laura how many there will be total if they all hatch. 25 - 40, not much difference... LOL I SO, did not just type that. Congrats Cyn.
