Things you wish you could say

I don't know what happened but I haven't been as hungry recently, I searched up some possible causes but none of them sound right
I could just be metabolism change due to getting older. This can happen at several stages in your life.

If you're coming out of youth and you've stopped growing, that can do it.

If you're just getting a bit older, your metabolism is slowing down, and that can do it.

There is a possibility that there's something going on with your thyroid, though, if you really think it's not natural. That can be checked with a simple blood test.

Thanks for the advice

I wish I could say I didn't waste my afternoon trying to figure out why on earth the new graphics card driver wasn't installing on Windows 7, and why on earth "service pack 1" wasn't working. Turns out, that was the "service pack rollup 1", not "service pack 1".

I have since downloaded the appropriate file and am now awaiting the finishing of installation.

Not to mention Microsoft has killed the links to a lot of thing. Made this even more difficult.

I wish I could say THERE ARE NO TICKS ON MY PROPERTY, NONE! NOT ONE. ZERO. ZILCH. NADA!!! :barnie:mad:

Bloody buggers.

And that I will be ordering a flame-thrower from Amazon....
Ticks are bad here this year. Every day I pick off many walking around my body. Last night I removed two that were 'feeding' on me.

I think they are bad everywhere. We even treated for them already. Guess we need to do it again. And the chickens are fat with them. Whenever I go outside I put on knee-high boots and I stick to well-mown paths. I only go to the chicken coop or walk around the house on the trail. I seldom get a tick. Last night I thought I had a tiny, irritating sliver on my fourth finger where my pinky was rubbing against it. Under a strong light I went to pull it out when --- WHAAAAT? --- it was a tiny, reddish tick trying to burrow in. I was so mad! How did I get a tick on my finger?!? Grrrr! :barnie

Sorry my career choice isn't good enough for you, I am not going to change it because I'm "wasting my potential" in your eyes, can you not accept this is what I want to do? This is what I'm passionate about, it's my life. Not yours.
👍🏼 and :clap Wish I'd had the sense to say this to my mom, all those years ago! Well said! It's your life, live it for you and nobody else. If somebody chooses to be unhappy about it, that's their choice.
