I have the same problem with little siblings. They just don't listen. And I have to tell them that they aren't helping matters when I am trying to get them in a line to get in the coop and then they come walking the opposite direction right towards them.Wish I could say:
I really appreciate your willingness to help me herd chickens. I do. But. You're so flippin' bad at it. I get them almost to where I want them to go and then you jump in front of them and send them all fluttering back the way we just came. It wouldn't be so bad if you would just LISTEN and take direction, and STOP when I say stop, or back up when I tell you to. Trust me, I know what I'm doing, and I know what these birds are going to do before they do.
Thank you! It's so fustrating, isn't it? I mean... you know they mean well and they're trying to help and you don't want to discourage them but inside you feel likeI have the same problem with little siblings. They just don't listen. Yep. I actually do tell them just to "move" and they usually listen after around the tenth repeat.Thank you! It's so fustrating, isn't it? I mean... you know they mean well and they're trying to help and you don't want to discourage them but inside you feel like![]()
Why are you not using a drone to herd them in?I have the same problem with little siblings. They just don't listen. FAA restricted area. And a residential area like this is too small for such maneuvers. Why are you not using a drone to herd them in?
Now that is a really good idea! Why are you not using a drone to herd them in?
Wouldn't they just flatten out and/or run around in circles, screaming, "Hawk alert! Hide! Hide! We're all gonna diiiiieee!"? And what if the rooster tries to kill it?Why are you not using a drone to herd them in?
