Things you wish you could say

wish I could say: are you starting multiple threads just to see how many responses you get, or are you just bored?
Answer shopping. They're not getting the answer they want on one thread, so they're hoping to get it on another.

One of the best memes I've ever seen.

If you're not allowed to have roosters, don't get roosters. If you have to get st run, have a plan to move roosters as soon as possible. Don't just decide that the rule is stupid and you won't follow it.

Same with chickens and poultry in general. If you can't have then, don't get them and then try to figure out how to keep them.

So much this. Part of the reason I chose to raise quail instead of chickens was because of the rules about chickens inside city limits. I didn't want to annoy the neighbours, and I didn't want to be face with fines or getting into conflict with city officials.

And I get trying to change the rules to allow them, thats great. But the posts bragging about keeping illegal roosters or about how someone got a half dozen chicks and now have to get rid of them because they got in trouble with a rule they *knew* existed
