Things you wish you could say

That I didn't decide to become paranoid about the black mold in my bathroom skylight — that I've been living with for months — at 3 am, so I wasn't able to sleep.

I need a brain transplant. I'm so sick of this one. 🧠

Agreed, standard time is standard for a reason, I hate daylight savings time
Daylight Savings Time is obsolete. It made sense back when we relied on candles and oil lamps for lighting. Nowadays, it's just habit. I'm with @tlcmurphy - just pick one, already. I don't really care which (although I lean towards DST for the longer evenings.) Whichever one we end up with, we'll adjust ... but luckily, only ONCE!

I remember when they tried going to DST earlier than normal. It failed due to massive protests from people not wanting their children going to school in the dark.

For us old folks, the only real effect DST has on us is for appointments (doctor, dentist, etc.) I do like the animals and go by sunup and sundown.

Me too.
This year I didn’t notice when I booked a doctors appointment that I got 8am on the Monday after the switch.
That was a bit brutal TBH.
