Usually but I prefer rum other ways. If I put booze in eggnog it would be brandy.

I don't know about regular eggnog with alcohol, but I have some friends who are wine drinkers and I found an eggnog wine.

Egg nog, home made is best. There are TONS of recipe's. which alcohol you use, well, is pretty much up to you I'd believe. Ive had rum ones, brandy ones, moonshine ones etc.

When Uncle Twitchy starts with the politics around the Christmas Tree, instead of telling him to shove that tree up his dark side and scratching an eyeball, hit the Egg Nog bowl instead, it makes people more tolerable.

WARNING: It IS a creme drink. Creme / Cream WITH alcohol. While that is fine by itself ...if you mix it or Waaayyyy over do it. umm.... not a fun day after...

Well, it makes for super drunk characters, which males for humor. Dunno if that's accurate or not

Well, it is used in white Russians, but I would use brandy or bourbon.

bourbon / brandy is better for nog. not as harsh and depending on w hich you pick can add to the flavor
