Things you wish you could say

Thing I wish I could say - to you bullies out there except you probably won't recognize yourselves. Your jokes and pranks are, at best, annoying, in poor taste, and stupid. At worst, they are hurtful and humiliatingly. "Can't you take a joke", is not an excuse for disrespectful behaviour. Listen to the tone if others are laughing. Are they laughing in embarrassment? Are they laughing because if they don't, they might be your next target. Pity those who has to make themselves bigger by tromping on the backs and feelings of others.
Stop it.

Drives me crazy that they sell baby rabbits at Easter. Noticed I didn't call them baby bunnies. Like chicks, they are cute for awhile but need appropriate care, feed, caging, and in my experience, lots of handling or can become quite nasty. Last spring a couple were dumped in my area. We were soon overrun with rabbits. The local fox seems to have taken care of the problem.
A few years back someone gave chicks to a friend of DS for Easter. Thank God he only has 2 children. The mom called me in tears, because they were in an apartment (no yard, not even a terrace). The chicks had been living in the bathtub, unless someone was washing and the chicks were out growing the tub. She begged me to take them. I was ready to take them as soon as I started hearing the story. Poor Mom was so relieved that I would take them into my flock. 1 was a BR and 1 was a RIR, both were sweet, nice additions to my flock.

@BrooksHatlen love your handle  :th;)

Ok here goes a large percentage of chicken health problems seem to me like they stem from dirty run and coop conditions not properly cleaned areas lice mites fly strike etc if you are going to have chickens care for them properly i hear a lot of people say they clean their coop once a year that is incomprehensible to me 15 to 30 minutes a day doesnt seem like a lot of time to spend taking care of the responsibility you took on when you got chickens

I have another.
'The internet' is not a source. So please don't say 'but the internet says...'. If I were you, I'd trust people with actual experience over some theoretical post on a sketchy site.
I agree. Not to mention so many things soind similar online. Have something going on with one of my flocks and according to the internet, there like 5 different things it could be and all of them are the same symptoms and looks
