make up is a oppressive industry,

I agree! Its main purpose, IMO, is to make women feel inadequate and/or feed their insecurities. Well, and to part women from their hard-earned money. I have no insecurities so I wear no makeup. I experimented with it in my younger days and just felt that I looked like either a hooker or a rodeo clown, so I gave it up. I'm the only one that doesn't have to look at my face, so I'm perfectly happy with it just the way God made it.
