They help, nothing is 100%.

That's why masking is only part of the picture. Early on, we masked, distanced, and washed hands. The numbers came down, we "flattened the curve." Now we also have vaccines. If we added that to the previous protocols, we could beat this. Instead, too many are doing nothing, and Covid is kicking our butts again.

I came back to say I have been thinking about this conversation, and your question that initiated it. It's possible, I suppose, that the virus did not actually enter THROUGH my eyes, but rather that it only manifested first IN my eyes. Which have not been right ever since, by the way. Anyway. I'm not usually here after sundown on Friday, but this bothered me enough that I had to come back and straighten this out. Thanks for your question and giving me something to think about.

I was wondering that too, but I can't think of any way to actually figure out which option it was.
