Please don't take your disgust about a corporate policy on a clerk for just doing her job.

Begrudgingly I have to agree with Relk here.

You KNOW that kid don't give a rats butt about your day, why should they? Their boss' make them vomit that garbage and if they don't, some Karen snivvels and they get in trouble.

What color or pattern is the front bunny?

I've seen plenty of solids and brokens at that age, so I recognize all the rest, but I've never had one that looked like that. Maybe a Harlequin?

I would never do that. I just smile, nod, and silently respond.
In my perfect world, everyone would have to spend some time working in the service industry. There would be more appreciation for the conditions, the variety of customers you have to be polite to, and the pay.

All that sounds like a perfect reason to learn your job well, get good at stuff, then go get a better job that pays more and treats you better. But agreed, I did the pizza thing for a short time and yah, customers can really suck, but luckily I was in the keys in the 90's so we were still allowed to tell snivvelers to go FO. Half the time the owner would beat us to it if people got stupid.

It is much more satisfying, when you get good service, to call for a manager. Tell a manager what good service you got from an employee. The look of shock on both their faces, because they were expecting otherwise, is well worth the effort. Takes a few minutes of your time to make someone's day.
