I remember my grandfather complaining that if gas hit 40 cents a gallon he was going to stop driving.

I remember my PawPaw driving us all over Baton Rouge looking for .27 gasoline. No way he was paying .29 cents a gallon.

My great grandfather would do the same thing, spend a dollar on gas, running all over town to save a dime overall and heavens HELP you if you tried to point that out, it's the PRINCIPLE OF IT !!!!!!

I remember getting it as low as 19 cents a gallon in Oklahoma. Here they charge us for shipping it to Oklahoma and back even though it never leaves the state.
