Things you wish you could say

First part: EXACTLY!
Second part: partially true, DE and garlic do help a lot but not always a "cure". I've been into alternative medicine/homeopathy for over 10 years but you need to know what you are doing. There is a trick to that stuff. Pumpkin seeds.. I've never came across that they were a cure to anything.
Pumpkin seeds are supposed to help against worms!

I just saw a post on another site about a recent study that found no significant difference in worm load between chickens fed pumpkin seeds and those not. I've yet to see anything supporting the claim beyond 'well, I feed pumpkin seeds and my birds don't have worms,' which can neither be claimed without a proper fecal float test nor used as evidence of causation. Seems to me like the only "reputable" sources that cling to pumpkin seeds as a natural wormer are also sources trying to sell their 'all natural' supplements and feed additives for chickens that don't do anything but line said sources' pockets.
Edited to fix a typo, oops.

Agree. All sorts of magic works. Until it doesn't.

Please provide the scientific studies with peer review that support your statement. I say studies cause we know that a single, non repeated, study really doesn't prove anything beyond providing a good basis for improvement or identifying other pertinent variables.

Speaking of which, why do human doctors provide pills with one test result? You have high cholesterol. Single data point, what is the trend? I had bacon for breakfast. Regardless, you need pills or you will die.

Will I? I'm willing to test that hypothesis.

I've had bacon for breakfast three times this week. It's "allowed" on a low carb diet😁

Mine didn't. He told me to hit the treadmill and stop being a fattie. :p I got an extended lecture on how it was linked to diabetes and how we were going to treat it with diet and exercise because at my age it's better to go that route unless there is no option.

I bet that doctor told you to eat a high carb, low fat diet to prevent diabetes?
