Things you wish you could say

I hate it when these big critters waltz inside like they own the place?
Gray one is a wolf spider, (3) in the bottom of a quart jar, black one is also a wolf spider (I think?) in the bottom of a sugar canister.(4)View attachment 3266842
Grey appears to be Carolina wolf spider-
Black is wolf, but I don't know what species.

I think the black one may be a tarantula? How big is that sugar canister?

Paging @Noah P, he's way better on spider ID's than I am.
The canister is 4" in diameter, I'm not sure it's a tarantula, they usually have a 'teddy bear' look to them. I thought it was one as it scampered across the kitchen.

Someone on reddit said black veleveteen but I'm pretty sure it was a comment on the appearance.

It could very well be just another Carolina wolf spider- they have a lot of variation in color.
Tigrosa georgicola looks very similar, but I'm having a hard time finding a range map.

It's likely just a dark wolf spider, it dies have markings but they're faint.
Do you know how much to feed it? I gave it two decent sized mole crickets last night, those are gone, I'm wondering if it needs more.

Pretty much anything that moves, and is smaller than it. Don't do lady bugs or caterpillars in general, as they can be toxic.

For the love of... How long does it take you to use the port-a-potty? In the time you've been in there I've gone to the park across the freeway to find the restroom there locked, found another port-a-potty that I declined to use due to the horrible diseases I would contract, come back, and posted this!
