Things you wish you could say

Most insurance companies give a discount for completing such a course whether you need it or not. Getting a discount on insurance costs is a worthwhile thing and does not imply that the course was actually needed for safety reasons.
not that it would help in BBH’s case, but i’ve always just paid someone who runs one of those defensive driving courses to say i took the class.

i think it’s like $150/person. he takes down all your license information, then mails each person who participated a certificate about a week later.

then you contact your insurance company with the certificate and there’s your discount!

Folks, I am hurting here!

Not being able to talk about subjects so crucial to farm living, such as government-implemented farming policies/mandates, is just wrong. Hard truth: We farm by the grace of our governments. We’d better know what they doing, and be able to talk about it.

I’m NOT talking about bashing this politisn or that, but rather, learning about policies (the good, the bad & the ugly) that affect our lives to the core and what we can seriously DO about it as serious, intelligent human beings.

You’re kidding us, right?!

so start a thread about it.

the forum at large doesn’t have rules about politics and religion - just certain threads do.

That says they "strongly discourage" not that it's not allowed.
That member wants to discuss policies pertaining to farming not argue politics. I don't see a problem with a thread like that as long as it stays on topic.
