Things you wish you could say

Oh and did I mention the sleepwalking, sleep-eating, sleep-drinking, sleep-coding, sleep-deprivedness...
I'll give an example of each.

I once woke up as I was unlocking the back door, about to go outside. Don't know where I was going.

I've been found sitting on the kitchen floor eating a block of cheese.

More than once I've woken up sitting at the table, glass in hand, in the act of swallowing a drink of water.

I created one of my best coding projects at one a.m. while not even aware of what I was doing.

As for the sleep-deprivedness, that shows itself very clearly when it wants to.

Do you take any meds? Have you discussed this with a doctor?

Think I said this before, but that reminds me of when I was on Ye Olde Amphetamines. Stay up for 4 days straight and hardly blink. 😵‍💫

I always wondered how people who took meth did sleep.

In the Breaking Bad shows it sometimes shows them crashing after a long day.

Once I was tutoring a guy in math in San Francisco. He asked for a glass of water. Then he took some prescription meth.

There was no sign of intoxication or anything. He was a "Big" in 3D animation in the mid-90's but had no formal training, and he was about 40, so, beginning to slow down a little bit.

So he took the Ephedrine and we sat down to go through my old Calculus book.

I think our "judicial" system in the US is quite a bit beyond f-cked up.

If some person wants to get hyper-stimulated and take apart a dishwasher - so what ?

Bad thing is that it was prescription drugs.

Yeah, but if you have to deal with them in daily life like I do, you'll see exactly why meth should be illegal. And VERY illegal.
