Did they come through alright? The eye went right over our house. Power was only off for 15 hours! I’m still in awe of the power crews.

Yes, they did okay, thanks for asking! Took four or five days to get the power back on though. This happened:

No damage to the vehicle and a neighbor removed the tree so they could get out.

I knew I didn't watch scary movies for a reason. And it seems others don't even put it in the scary category.

Quiet Place Day One.

Mom is a fan of the franchise, she really wanted to go to the drive-in. She had a great time.

I was so invested in the cat, and thinking of how our cats would behave... and the base with desperate gunfire got stuck in my brain. Previous installments haven't been my cup of tea but they didn't really bother me either.
I'm going to make her watch a sappy happy movie with me in return, lol.
