Things you wish you could say

Not to argue...but really how is either situation any less annoying? You up at 4 a.m with the roosters or the neighbors at 8pm doing lawn work 🤷 From my perspective broth situations could be disturbing someone relaxing/sleeping so how is it any different?

Btw- I'm genuinely asking for perspective not trying to be difficult 😊
Roos are in the barn so even when they crow one cannot hear them.

And the neighbours have all their windows closed, and the AC running. So they don’t hear anything from outside. It would be a waste of energy for my Roos to crow!

For instance right now an Owl is hooting away out there - woke me up the beast!

It sound likes there is hot weather issue at the moment.
Over here it is cold, windy, rain, and cold.

I would love to have some of your spring warm weather and I will send you some of my wet, windy, cold winter weather. If that is possible we will all be so happy:wee❤️

I’d love to send you some warm DRY weather ♥️

What does it matter if a post is old? If it's relevant then we rather topics and questions be grouped together in one thread instead starting a new one 🤷

I only ask bc I research the archives a lot And sometimes have questions relevant to old posts and the content within them. 😊 Maybe you are talking about me digging up old threads 🤷🤣🤣🤣
No. It was not about you. LOL

And true, sometimes there’s good information in them, but the person I am thinking of did not ask any questions or anything and appears to have revived it just to argue lol

THATS why it’s annoying.

Also sometimes even if you’re asking relevant questions, the OP left so you wouldn’t get a response.

But it wasn’t about you or anyone on this thread lol

Do they separate their milking does from their bucks? Or are they all ran together? And what breed? It actually makes a difference. I have a production dairy goat herd which is why I know
I have no clue, and yes I'm aware that the buck needs to be separated if you want to use the milk.

I wish that I didn't just eat goat cheese, goat milk and cheese are some of the foulest foods I've ever had the displeasure of tasting and that cheese was no exception

If I liked anything they produced I would keep a goat or 2 but I hate both goat milk and meat

Ewww...

I haven't tried it, but I don't have to, sometimes you just know something is yicky.
Like fish, broccoli, escargot, mixed produce "smoothies", sugar-free beverages, prunes, sauerkraut, spore-filled fungus sponges, various oozing lumpy mixes termed "salads" that really aren't, desserts from the 80's involving weird combinations in strange shapes with fake whipped cream...

Goats would probably eat all of that, which is how I know they make weird flavored mammary secretions. How could that be improved by colonizing it with microscopic bugs?

Maybe he does because it's cooled off some by then?

Yep, but by then the mosquitoes are atrocious! And of course he actually does this all the time even when it’s cooler.

Better the do his stuff in the early more like I do.

He may be on medication that requires him to avoid sunshine, or could be photosensitive ( basically, allergic to the sun). People who have had bone marrow transplants have to avoid sun exposure. As do folks who've had melanoma. I'm sure he's not doing it to annoy you.

Oh is sure he is not in any sort of medical condition to have to work outside after 8 (I take an arthritic med that makes me photosensitive and I am an idiot and get sunburnt all the time - at the moment I have my lips sunburned, and my shoulders and back of my neck).

He is likely just clueless as to the rudeness of his actions.

Roosters are the ultimate revenge for bad neighbors. Although I think I might get into peafowl when I retire!

My neighbour across the road loved to hear them crowing. We have a bunch of us who have poultry, last week I heard the hens kicking up a fuss so I ran out to see what’s up, my gang where alert looking around - it was two houses down - their hens were all squawking up a storm.

Love goat cheese. Milk not so much but OK.
How are you with sheep cheese?
I like most cheese. Yak was a bit pungent for me.
