I didn't just completely lose my temper at my incredibly disrespectful tenant.




She knows that this house has a no shoes rule. She's broken it before, but forgot that I have cameras at the doorbell and front entrance, so I knew.

That was the last straw (she'd done other disrespectful things like walk right through the middle of my zen garden and some other things), so I served her an eviction notice yesterday, and today I had JUST cleaned the @#$@ stairs when she came traipsing down them and out the door wearing her shoes.

She came back while I was cleaning the upstairs hallway and she ran into me and I told her just how disrespectful she was.

I'm not proud of myself. I very, very rarely lose my temper.

I'm so sorry, Bee. She probably doesn't mean to be disrespectful. If she's from a different culture she probably just doesn't understand how important these things are to you, and it's very hard to break the habits of a lifetime. Hopefully now she does understand though. She may not know WHY it's important but hopefully she has a little more respect.

My GC does not do things the way I want them done, especially in the kitchen. No matter how many times I show/ tell/ ask / remind her. She's 24 and as far as I can tell, of normal ability and intelligence. I love her dearly. There's a good chance I'll be putting up with her the rest of my life. I keep telling myself I'm old and decrepit, lol.
