Wish I could say that about our PTA. The former treasurer was caught stealing quite a bit of money and is in trouble with the law now. Good thing I'm not part of the PTA or I would have handled it much differently

Not - I've done that job long enough. It's time for someone else to step up. We have an excellent secretary. Perhaps amending our bylaws to create a secretary/treasurer position will solve the problem. Not certain the AKC allows this.
