I wish I can say that the only news on tv is chicken fluffy butt, chickens looking cute and beautiful, baby chickens, chickens running and chasing butterflies, chickens dirt bath, chickens dig up the garden, chickens sitting on dogs, roosters doing the mating dance, chickens and more ALIVE chickens....

If that were the case I might actually care at least a little about the news. As it is I never watch the news as I've seen what being caught up in all that does to someone's mental health

Wish I could say my lost-then-found friend did not insist on bringing up politics over and over again and then getting so mad that we do not agree that she has decided not to speak to me for a week or two.

I did tell her there are topics we need to avoid to protect our friendship, sigh.

Dang it, it seems like the mice have moved into my house.

Get 'Just One Bite' will take care of your mouse or rat problem but be careful not to let your cat eat or play with the mice after you poison them, cuz it will kill it too!

Wish I could say my lost-then-found friend did not insist on bringing up politics over and over again and then getting so mad that we do not agree that she has decided not to speak to me for a week or two.

I did tell her there are topics we need to avoid to protect our friendship, sigh.

I have a friend that insists on talking politics. I just don't engage when he does. Because 1. We're usually at work 2. I don't care about politics 3. We disagree on many issues anyways and arguing about it will do no good. People need to realize that while yes, politics is important, it's not something they need to be constantly bringing up. There is a time and place for it and outside of that they need to be careful as that's a subject that can very easily cause heated fights if they aren't careful (unproductive ones at that)

I have a friend that insists on talking politics. I just don't engage when he does. Because 1. We're usually at work 2. I don't care about politics 3. We disagree on many issues anyways and arguing about it will do no good. People need to realize that while yes, politics is important, it's not something they need to be constantly bringing up. There is a time and place for it and outside of that they need to be careful as that's a subject that can very easily cause heated fights if they aren't careful (unproductive ones at that)

Two subjects that shouldn't be discussed if you want a friendship to last....politics and religion!
