Think I have a rooster

I purchased baby chicks 17 weeks ago all were said to be sexed & they were pullets. I was suppose to have 6 Road Island Reds. I ended up with 5 RI Reds & 1 Buff Brahma. A few weeks ago I started to notice my Brahma acting like the boss of the others & “she” was on top of one of the reds. Yesterday “she” crowed!!! So “she” must be a “he” correct? I am attaching a pic!

Your photo is pretty murky, but the giant red comb sure speaks volumes. Have you picked out any boy names?

Well when I thought he was a she I called her Sable so now I’m just going to call him Sable Sam! He is very pretty don’t you think see this pic!

Oh and I’m pretty sure hens don’t crow right? My Papa always had chickens & he never had a hen that crowed.

I had an OEGB hen that crowed. Crowing hens exist, it's just uncommon.

I have a hen that never shuts up! My Beetov-Hen, is always vocal about everything.
