Think I have a rooster

My Father-in-law said, when he was a kid growing up they had a hen that crowed! But it is uncommon, he is 92 years old & said his Dad was uneasy about having a hen that crowed so she became dinner that night!

Beetov-Hen, with her beak shut, very rare!

Oh, he's gorgeous! Yes, those hackle feathers are all boy.

Hens do crow. I've had three or four over the years that have crowed and sounded like a very respectable rooster crow. Presently, I have two hens, a Cream legbar and a Speckled Sussex that like to crow on occasion. The Speckled Sussex crows after she kicks some other hen's ass.

Really what breed are they?
I’m pretty sure from everything I’ve googled about buff brahma hens & roosters mine is definitely a rooster.

Yes, but shhhhh! She thinks she's human:barnie
All of mine are very focal when I go in coop to feed them! They walk around me as if they are going to attack me & have bitten me on occasions not pecked me bit me! I have 1 Red I think might be a rooster the comb on the head is taller than the rest of the reds & it is more aggressive this is the one that bites me if it gets a chance! Going to be keeping close eye out just in case! Can’t have 2 Roos in one coop!
