OK, I gotta step in here on this one...As far as the red dye goes, I know that my childs "besty" can have red dye. I know this. This isn't even a question, and I'm not even going to consider the "what ifs".
If I find out that my daughters best friend is the one abusing the OTC then by goodness the parent OUGHT to to THANKFUL that I let him know--I say "him" because it is her father who has custody and not the mother. The mother is the every other weekend parent and has left her at our house for days before calling.
Where along the lines did it become someone else's "responsibility" or "fault" something occurred? Seriously. Then stop sending your kids to other peoples' houses because it's convenient!!!!!! Oh, that just aggravated me to no end. If a child is at my house and falls off a swing, then that is a learning experience....when did everyone become so delicate and fragile ??
I'm not trying to thread-jack my own thread, but I have a serious problem with threatening of suing people. We have a pool, a trampoline, and a huge playground area with equip. for our kids....the nieghbor kids always want to go swimming, always want to be on our equip. and tramp. And I have to be the mean one and say no....for liability. Forget home owners insurance...that doesn't mean squat. We do let the friends play however on all of the equip. except the pool. I offered to let the neighbor kids come over and swim after weeks of them asking. I called the mother, told her that if she wanted to come and supervise her 4 kids while they were here swimming, that would be great and that they could come swim..........................................................................................................................................she never came over and let them swim.............to me, my point was made.
Anyway back on subject, my daughter didn't touch the Nyquil again tonight!!
Now I'm really starting to think that it's one of her friends.
Oh, BTW, even though we have 2 computers here, I know she has NOT been on the computer to see this. I know this has raised some concerns as well. I am a stay at home mom and my husband is home on Tues. Thurs. Sat. and Sun. So we know when she is online and what she is doing. There is no way for her to see this. However, the friend with the blackberry also has internet on her phone and I've caught them in my daughters room online on the stinkin' phone!!!!
But, still doin' the chicken dance here!!
